Course Summary
This course is designed for qualified first aiders who require training that conforms to the recommendations of the Australian Resuscitation Council. This course is also nationally approved and accredited by VETA, the Vocational Education and Training Association.
The course is composed of two modules:
1. Advanced Oxygen Resuscitation (Compulsory 6 Hours)
2. Automatic External Defibrillation (6 Hours)
Content
This course is designed to be flexible - One or two modules can be attended, with training in either module.
Duration of each module is 2 hours on-line followed by 4 hours practical training and testing - An advanced level of training which was not previously available to first aiders. The course outcomes follow the Policy Statements of the Australian Resuscitation Council.
